Jim Johnson and his team remodeled our master bathroom. The pre-planning for the project was detailed with the scope of work, price, and timing agreed to before the start date. The workers on the project were professional, on time, and highly skilled. There was constant communication between Jim, his team, and us. Pictures of the new shower, the old shower and tub, and the new cabinets vs the old cabinets are attached. My wife and I would highly recommend Jim and his team for any remodeling project, and plan to use them in the future.

Jim Johnson is an exceptional builder and honest businessman. You can tell he does this work because he loves it and genuinely wants his work to be the highest quality. He was referred to me by a co-worker with very high standards, and I am so grateful we were able to have his team do our addition and remodel.

We have an older home and needed more space, so we added a bedroom above the garage and connected the new space to the existing home. We also remodeled most rooms, including a full kitchen expansion and remodel, new floors throughout, all new electrical wiring, HVAC, interior and exterior paint, plumbing upgrades (and moved a bathroom), and we added a front porch. There were problems along the way, which you'd expect with a project of this size, but Jim did his best to stay within the agreed-upon timeline. Every problem or decision was discussed in a transparent and collaborative way, and his suggestions saved us from future headaches. We now have a solid home that is well-designed and functional. From the big items such as the flow of a new room, down to the motion-detecting lights he suggested for our driveway...no detail is overlooked by Jim, Harvey, and the team.

With Jim, you get a builder who is extremely knowledgeable, available, creative, trustworthy, and best of all, he does what he says he will do. It's not easy to find these qualities in a builder.

I have used Texas Select Before and had chosen to use them again. The cost was very reasonable and the work was impeccable. After having some major surgeries, I needed to make my home more accessible, so they helped me widen doorways, change out doors, put in some new appliances and I have to say I am loving the completed products. It is so much easier to get in and out and move around now and they look great.

My husband and I bought my parents home that was flooded during Harvey two years ago. We were put in touch with Jim by friends that had used him for previous remodel jobs. After interviewing several contractors it was clear that Jim with Texas Select Builders was the guy for us. From the very beginning he was extremely detailed, prompt and his communication was excellent. I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to do with the house, but without Jim's ideas and direction I don't think I would have been as happy with the end result.
